Asurion Home+® provides protection and tech support for your eligible home tech, like TVs, laptops, gaming systems, and more. It’s a service contract that’s different from a manufacturer’s warranty and doesn’t extend or replace warranty coverage.
This plan is no longer available for new enrollments — but if you’re a current Asurion Home+ customer, you can still start or track a claim, use your benefits, and get expert tech support. Asurion will continue to provide best-in-class service to current Asurion Home+ customers.

Sorry, no. Any preexisting damaged devices are not covered under the plan prior to enrollment. If you need a repair on a device that was damaged prior to enrollment or that is not covered under the Asurion Home+ plan, our stores can assist you with a repair. Feel free to schedule a service online or visit one of our 700+ stores.

Tech support starts when you sign up. Protection coverage starts at Day 31 after sign up. Coverage continues as long as you're enrolled in the Asurion Home+ plan.
Our plan protects your eligible in-home devices
Under one simple plan, we provide device protection and support for the following devices:
LED, LCD, and Plasma TV’s
Gaming systems, including original remote controllers
Audio headsets; DVD and Blu-ray Players
Home theater systems in a box (including receivers, subwoofers, amplifiers, tuners, speakers, and soundbars)
Desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and e-readers (including one associated modem, mouse, keyboard, wired speaker and external monitor per device)
Printers, external hard drives, routers, audio/video streaming devices, smart speakers
Smart thermostats, smart smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
Smart door locks, smart video doorbells, smart light dimmers
Smart home security camera
Smart watches and health and fitness bands.
That is a lot of coverage for such a great price!
Eligible products are covered for breakdowns (mechanical or electrical failures) caused by defects in materials and workmanship; normal wear and tear; dust, heat or humidity; or power surge. Select portable devices are also covered for breakdowns due to unintentional and Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) as a result of normal use, like drops, spills, and cracked screens.
Products eligible for ADH coverage are laptops, tablets, portable DVD/Blu-ray players, portable handheld gaming devices, wearables, audio headsets, virtual reality headset and printer display screens only.

Yes! For laptops, tablets, portable DVD/Blu-ray players, portable handheld gaming devices, wearables, audio headsets, virtual reality headsets, and printer display screens only, no need to stress over accidental drops, spills, or cracked screens. We’ve got it covered and can repair or replace your device with a minimal service fee of $99, $49, or even $0 per approved claim, depending on the device covered.
A typical homeowners or renters policy usually only covers catastrophes like theft or fire and doesn’t cover breakdowns like normal wear and tear or mishaps on portables like cracked screens. Asurion Home+ covers the most common breakdowns on all of your favorite home tech devices.
You can cancel your Asurion Home+ plan at any time. You’ll receive a prorated refund of your monthly fee upon canceling.

A covered claim will apply to your total claim limit for 12 months after the claim is completed. The amount of the claim will no longer apply to your total claim limit 12 months after the completed claim.

Meet Asurion Tech Care
Finally, one simple plan that covers it all—appliances, phones, and home tech. 
No hassle, no stress, no surprise costs.
Asurion Home+ is $34.99 + tax per month. Your plan will continue to renew each month unless canceled. You may cancel at any time for any reason at no additional charge. If you cancel, a pro-rata refund of the service contract coverage may be provided as described in the terms and conditions. Cover an unlimited number of eligible devices. Access to technical support begins when you enroll. Device protection coverage begins on your 31st day of enrollment and includes mechanical and electrical breakdowns on eligible devices and accidental damage from handling for certain portable devices. Pre-existing failures and breakdowns occurring before day 31 are not covered. File as many claims as you need. Get up to $5,000 in coverage every 12 months and $2,000 per approved claim. Non original parts may be used for repair, and a replacement product may be a new, refurbished, or remanufactured product. A service fee of $0, $29, $79, $99 or $129 + tax will be charged for each approved claim. Limitations and exclusions apply.
